Pauline Coombs talks about the Ripperston farm UFO encounters, Pembrokeshire, Wales, 1977

As is mentioned later, the Coombs family of Ripperston Farm near Little Haven featured prominently as witnesses to a number of 'flap' events alleged to have taken place. This was, I believe, the first. Pauline Coombs was returning home to the farm with her children when her eldest son saw a bright tight 'falling out of the sky'. She accelerated to avoid a collision, then found that the oval, yellow light, about the size of a football, was following the car just above the hedge tops by the side of the road. A hazy beam of light was shining down from it. As she neared the farm her car lights and the engine both lost power and began to fade. As the car stopped, she and the children got out and raced to the farmhouse. The light then flew off and disappeared.
