You are a Soviet truck driver — and this is your whole мlife

You are twenty-four years old, driving a Soviet ZIL truck through a frozen night with seven tons of cargo behind you. The engine suddenly dies in the middle of nowhere. There are no village lights, no help, and no easy way home. With only a flashlight, a few tools, and a thermos prepared by your wife, you step into the snow and begin the repair. But this is only the beginning. This is the life of a Soviet truck driver: the freezing roads, crowded apartments, long workdays, broken fuel lines, paperwork, factory deliveries, family responsibilities, and the quiet sacrifices nobody remembers. You will learn to listen to an engine before it fails. You will carry food, machine parts, furniture, fuel, and promises across a country that depends on trucks moving through every season. You will get married, raise children, lose sleep, repair the same worn-out ZIL again and again, and slowly discover that the truck is more than a machine. It becomes your workplace, your private room, your responsibility, and a permanent part of your memory. This is not the story of a famous hero. It is the story of an ordinary working man whose life helped keep factories, villages, families, and entire communities connected. Step into the cab. The road is waiting.
