Elizabeth Sidiropoulos on Russian-South African Relations

Over the last 25 years, there was a lot of good will between Russian and South Africa to develop relations, which was not realized its full potential, argues Elizabeth Sidiropoulos, Chief Executive, South African Institute of International Affairs. Now, South Africa’s domestic changes and Russia’s new engagement in African issues make this realisation possible. According to her, it is also important that Russia and all other BRICK partners work with South Africa on addressing specific African challenges and conflicts.
