Introducing the Garment GUI!

A touchscreen you can wear on your sleeve! Led by Asst Prof Tural Khudiyev from NUS Materials Science and Engineering at the NUS College of Design and Engineering, the research team developed a fibre that functions as pixels and senses touch at the same time — creating the world’s first touchscreen built into a washable and breathable garment. The technology could pave the way for clothing that serves as an interface to our health data and digital devices.
