Sound of Cities: Munich Underground | 90s Darkcore Drum & Bass DJ Mix

@DrumBassCulture This is close to a set I played in 1996 at an illegal drum & bass rave in a forest in southern Germany. Last weekend, I tried to recreate it at a small club. The place was packed. They were expecting Tomorrowland-style mainstream shit. I gave them raw 90s darkcore drum & bass. At first, they booed me. Later, they absolutely lost it. 30 years later, those breaks still do the job. I know not every transition was spot on, but D&B is about as hard as it gets to mix, and I'm out of practice. I'd also had everything from piña coladas and caipirinhas to vodka Red Bulls :D Mixed on a Pioneer DJ DJM-A9. Hope you enjoy it.
