Trenchless replacement of ductile iron D200 mm water pipeline with 70 t pulling force Pipe Burster

Quite a unique case in Poland. To our best knowledge, it is an unprecedented construction task completion: 6 m long spheroidal graphite cast iron pipes with bellmouthed connection were installed while pulled, one after one, joined together, by our customized pipe bursting head for pipes made of fracturable materials, simultaneously destroying the old cast iron water pipe. Trenchless Technology & Solution: Advanced cost-effective “Dry compaction” (Hydraulic power pulling), without use of bentonite or water. Pit (shaft) arrangement smart solution: Minimal excavation & Workers’ Safety & Quickly installable, cost-effective MEMPEX patented Collapsible Mobile Modular Hydraulicly-powered Self-elevating Shoring System OR-1.5: http://mempex.by/en/equipment/3598/ Works orderer: Polish Łódź city administration.
