NEW Weapon Bouncecritter | Voice-review | Mech Arena

Bouncecritter is a new Barrage weapon built around critical hits, ammunition refunds and rebound damage. Every critical hit returns a round to the magazine and can send the projectile into a second nearby enemy. With a maxed 70% crit chance, its eight-round magazine can keep firing for roughly 31 seconds on average. But the weapon comes with major tradeoffs. Its single-target DPS is lower than Minigun, its projectiles still need accurate aim, Galvanic Hull absorbs the critical bonus, and rebound only works when another enemy is close enough and directly visible from the first target. In this review, I break down Bouncecritter's real magazine size, independent rebound crits, 20-to-26-meter Rebound Radius, damage compared with Minigun, implant choices, rear-damage interaction and the best mechs and maps for the weapon. I also test some less obvious builds, including Tailsting and Zephyr.
