Waves of Ash — Shadows of the Mind

A dark and emotional rock/metal journey into the burden of intelligence and the weight carried by those who see the world too clearly. Inspired by the idea that great minds often endure great suffering, Shadows of the Mind blends powerful guitars, cinematic atmosphere, and bilingual English–Russian lyrics to create a haunting and epic experience. The song explores loneliness, inner battles, and the silent strength of those who carry deep thoughts and deeper hearts. With heavy riffs, melodic intensity, and philosophical undertones, Waves of Ash delivers a track that resonates with anyone who has ever felt the weight of knowledge and emotion. A song about pain, greatness, and rising through the darkness. #WavesOfAsh #ShadowsOfTheMind #MetalMusic #RockMetal #HeavyMetal #ProgressiveMetal #MelodicMetal #DarkMetal #PhilosophicalMetal #AtmosphericMetal #MetalBand #MetalSong #RussianMetal #BilingualMusic #EnglishRussian #DeepLyrics #DarkAtmosphere #EpicMetal #MetalCommunity #Headbangers Shadows of the Mind Verse 1 (English): In the silence of my mind, the storm begins to rise A thousand thoughts collide, a fire behind my eyes Chains of reason bind me, yet I break and bleed The weight of knowing all, the world I can’t unsee Pre-Chorus (Russian): Боль и страдание — мой вечный путь Сердце тяжёлое, ум светит сквозь муть Chorus (English + Russian mix): Great men we fall, beneath the sky so cold Great men we rise, through the darkness uncontrolled Verse 2 (English): Every truth a dagger, every love a curse The higher that you climb, the heavier the hearse I see the world in colors that burn and bleed And in this tragic vision, I sow the seed Bridge (Russian, spoken/growled): Величие — это проклятие и дар Судьба ведёт через огонь, через ад Только сердце, только разум, только страх и свет Мысли громче грома, и никто не сбежит отсюда Chorus (English + Russian mix): Great men we fall, beneath the sky so cold Great men we rise, through the darkness uncontrolled Outro (English, fading): Pain is the crown, sorrow the throne A lonely mind, a king alone Through fire and shadow, I make my stand The weight of greatness, held in my hands
