Upgrading the SHARE S20: E57 with Panoramas in Just a Few Clicks! It’s no secret that many SLAM scanner manufacturers have long supported exporting point clouds to the E57 format. One of the biggest advantages of E57 is its ability to store panoramas and scan position information together with the point cloud. Although Share Point Clouds Studio does not yet support full-featured E57 export, this limitation is easily overcome with SHARE Panorama Stitcher, a utility developed by Alexey from the “Geodesy for Professionals” channel. In my opinion, it’s a true must-have tool that takes SHARE S20 data processing to the next level. If you haven’t tried this utility yet, I highly recommend giving it a go.
