Create a virtual environment (isolated Python environment) python3 -m venv .venv # 4. Activate the virtual environment source .venv/bin/activate # 5. Install all dependencies from requirements.txt pip install -r requirements.txt # 6. Copy the example .env file (environment variables) cp .env.example .env # 7. Run the agent python3 -m src.agent 📌 What these commands do: Clone the repo – downloads the Sentient Social Agent code from GitHub. Change directory – moves into the project folder. Create a virtual environment – so all dependencies are installed locally, without affecting your system Python. Activate environment – enables the .venv, you’ll see (.venv) prefix in your terminal. Install dependencies – pulls in all the required Python libraries listed in requirements.txt. Copy .env file – this is where you’ll add your API keys (Fireworks, Twitter, Discord).
