Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa on Russia-ASEAN Strategic Relations

According to Tan Sri Rastam Mohd Isa, Chairman and Chief Executive of ISIS Malaysia, trade level between Russia and ASEAN is still very low in comparison to China. However, ASEAN regional market can offer opportunities for digital economy, high-end industry, including aviation and aerospace, and agriculture. There is peace, development and stability in the region, that is why it is possible to accommodate the interests of all actors, including the opportunities in the Russian Far East, where Vladivostok is closer to ASEAN than Moscow.
